AIA, LEED AP
Associate / Project Manager

Simply put, Jennifer loves working with people. Interacting with clients and colleagues on architectural projects every day fuels her. From historic preservation work to cutting edge technical projects, Jennifer’s experience is broad based including current work on the E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts at Fremont School and the Pacific Gas and Electric Gas Operations Technical Training Center. She has considerable success organizing and coordinating the work consultant teams who provide focused expertise in a variety of disciplines.

This ability to integrate different skillsets is what ultimately drew Jennifer to this field because she was not “that” kid; the one who knew architecture was for her. In fact, it was only because her mom would not let her major in dance Jennifer decided to go in another direction. Although she always liked art, science and math, architecture was not on the initial list of “to do’s”. But Jennifer enrolled anyway. After a very hard first year, she told herself that if she didn’t flunk out, she’d make a go of it. Not only did she make it through, she found it was the perfect marriage of her interests.

“I really enjoy working at Dreyfuss + Blackford because we have the coolest projects. From CLARA at Fremont School to work at Sutter’s Fort, no two projects are alike.”
