Shasta County Administration Center and Parking Garage

Construction was completed on this 106,000-square-foot, 3-story, comprehensive civic center in Redding, on time and well under the original budget.

The design team took advantage of spectacular views of Mount Lassen in shaping this significant new civic building, located next door to the county courthouse. The administrative branches of county government are consolidated in the structure, including a state-of-the-art Board of Supervisors’ chamber.

A 300-car garage was situated directly behind the Administration Building. The parking structure is embedded in the sloping site so that the top deck is a little higher than a one-story building.
