Christopher is a passionate Renaissance man. Always content with a pad of paper and a set of pencils, his family encouraged him to explore architecture. He did just that, but tailored his classes and mentors to follow an ‘experience only’ career path. This non-traditional route imparted a unique economy to Christopher’s thinking and technical approach to design which he has utilized on recent projects like Mohr Hall at Sacramento City College and the Oak Street Parking Structure for the City of Roseville.
Not surprisingly, even when he needs to recharge, Christopher grabs his sketch kit. But truth be told, he has it with him every day. With some medium in tow, Christopher is always primed to capture “it”. He even brings his watercolors with him to lunch. See if you can catch him between bites and brushstrokes to say “hi”.
“I love to lose myself walking through a city. Walking through streets, alleys and plazas looking for views and compositions of buildings and urban spaces. It gives me energy.”
