The daughter of an architect, Jennifer has design in her blood. However, it was not until dad let her play with CAD that she knew she would follow in his footsteps. From preliminary concepts through construction documents, Jennifer loves her work and enjoys each day because it’s new and different; monotony is not part of the gig! Her work on the E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts at Fremont School and the Woodland Superior Courthouse is illustrative of her diverse experience.
Design is not Jennifer’s only talent, though. Always curious, she’d often ask her dad why buildings were designed a certain way – especially when she thought they looked bad! Beware architectural critics…you may be out of a job someday.
“I would like to learn more about music. My daughter is showing some musical ability and I would love to join in and encourage her to play. I have a violin gathering dust; I should dig it out again.”
