Sugra Panvelwala

LEED GA
Project Designer

Sugra was introduced to the idea of architecture and design at 12 years old when her family home was renovated. Her interest in the profession was inspired by seeing the architect develop the overall plans for the renovation and his adept problem solving skills. She also enjoyed assisting her parents realize their vision. Ultimately, Sugra was drawn to the balance of science and arts that she feels is architecture. What continues to excite her about the profession today is the three-dimensional potential of an architectural concept. And at times when Sugra needs some design inspiration, she finds her creativity is often fueled by visiting museums.

“I find that visiting museums and other cultural institutions while traveling allows you to consider different perspectives highlighted by individuals through their work. Experiencing creativity expressed in a variety of ways always gets me thinking about my own projects; and how best to develop and communicate my ideas”.
