Tony Amato

AIA, LEED AP
Project Manager

Growing up, both of Tony’s parents worked in the airplane manufacturing business, so he was naturally fascinated by airplanes. He dreamed of being an airplane pilot and would spend countless hours perfecting drawings of planes. Tony took various art classes throughout his years in school. Then with his parent’s encouragement he decided to take a drafting class.  After completing the class, Tony knew he wanted to be an architect. Tony loves not only the joy of seeing a finished piece of art of architecture, but the process of getting there. His passion is taking an initial design idea and cultivating it through the entire process as it evolves and transforms into a finished product.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys the outdoors and connecting with nature.

“Every year in the summer, my family spends one week in Yosemite.  We go on hikes, kayak, meet hiking and nature enthusiasts from around the world, and have an excuse to eat way more calories than normal.  And nothing beats getting up at dawn and enjoying coffee in the crisp morning air of Yosemite.”
