California ISO Headquarters & Operations Center
This was a visionary project for the non-profit ISO, which manages the electrical grid for the entire state of California. The over-arching goal in the new facility was to create a secure, innovative and energy efficient headquarters complex. A further design goal was to enhance the work environment so that California ISO becomes the “employer of choice” for engineering and technical staff in the region.

Sacramento State, The Hub Research Park Master Plan
Dreyfuss + Blackford Architecture, in collaboration with MIG, Inc., developed a Master Plan for a 25-acre site to the south of the Sacramento State campus on Ramona Avenue. The site is within the Sacramento Center for Innovation which is bounded by Folsom Boulevard to the north, Power Inn Road to the east, and the Union Pacific rail lines to the west.
UC Davis Health, Parking Structure 5
On UC Davis Health’s Sacramento campus, Parking Structure 5 provides exceptional space for patients, visitors, and staff to feel safe, clearly find their way, and efficiently park their vehicle in a very open and day-lit space. With all vehicles entering and exiting the structure through a subterranean entrance off the adjacent mid-block intersection, the cross-campus flow of pedestrians and bicycles is uninterrupted.
